Tips and Tricks

Concise Sentences.

If a word has no job to do in a sentence, cross it out.

Most people use words in sentences which have no use. These words are useless in these sentences.

For example

Musah had no money with which to pay Bayport with.

The word "with" after Bayport is useless. It has no use.

So the correct sentence should be :

Musah had no money with which to pay Bayport.

Also, "a pronoun and its antecedent  used should not be used as the subject of the same verb"

For example,

The Fulanis in Ghana they were hardworking people.  (The Fulanis is the subject of the verb "were")

So the correct sentence would be ....

The Fulanis in Ghana were hardworking people.

See you next time.....
